First, here's whats happening this month in the Britta GreenViolet ecosystem...
Expectations, Longings, Needs, and Wuthering Heights
My latest Substack piece is a contemplation on my favorite new framework, applied to the spiritual cautionary tale of Wuthering Heights, of all things.
Want to work together?
I love my clients. They're business owners, service providers, leaders and creative AF movers and shakers. They ask for my help to quell overwhelm, catalyze big dreams, make important decisions, integrate psychedelic journeys, spend more analogue time off-screen and generally make more beauty in a chaotic-feeling world. Sound like you? I've got 3 options for dancing together this season! Pick the one that aligns with your aims or hit reply with "info" to schedule a Fit Call with me.
💎 Single Strategy Session
💎 3-Session Package
💎 6 or 12 Month Mentorship

Now, onwards 🕊️
Last week, Ben and I ripped out the carpet in both our bedrooms and had cork floors installed. To perform this makeover, we had to completely move out of both rooms, eliciting a massive wave of organizing, purging and feng shui-ing.
Spring cleaning’ gets all the buzz, but autumn is a perfectly logical time to cull our belongings.
Mimic the trees. Shake loose the nooks and crannies. Gather the energy where it’s needed most and release any superfluous and decaying on the branch. Tidy up the remains in piles, and take it to the proverbial compost bin.
In the process, I unearthed this Contract with Inspiration:
Originally inspired by a line in Big Magic by Liz Gilbert, this is the second official contract with Inspiration I’ve made. The first was back in 2017, when I wrote and published Eat Here Now (throw back to my holistic health coaching days).
I made this version two years ago, when I first began ideating a card deck. Then I got waylaid, and it became clear that particular deck was not, as they say, in the cards…
But what do you know, now two years later, I’m back at it, working on a new card deck!
This time, I’m all in. The work is steady. My commitment is solid. Even beyond the high cresting waves of creative enthusiasm and inevitable valleys of sporadic creative entropy, my devotion to this card deck persists.
That's how I know it’s the right one, and it’s worthy of my attention.
This synchronistically-timed artifact reminds me that
a) creative projects have a soul all their own, and if they are determined to get made, they will (eventually, by someone).
b) persistence is magic; even when I thought I had “failed” on this contract, it turns out I simply wasn’t aligned with the right idea yet.
c) contracts made with The Muse are real and binding (in a lovely, sexy way).

Is there a project you’re working on currently?
Consider crafting your own Contract with Inspiration.
You’d be amazed at the forces that conspire for your victory when you proclaim where your loyalties lie.
