Because inspiration matters [The Goods]
Hello beloved!
And welcome to another edition of The Goods, where I share a handful of ideas, resources, tools and practices that are improving the quality of my life, in the hopes some of these things will spark inspiration and feel resonant for you.
This month’s edition of The Goods is a smattering of resources and ideas that are sparking my creativity and deep contemplation. Because when you’re inspired, you’re awake.
It’s officially summer, dear one!
Open your eyes, wakey wakey!
Time to greet the new day.
[Podcast] Rainbow Reflections interview: Spirit-Led Entrepreneurship 🌈
I did a recent podcast interview with Alex McGuinness of ArcoIris Design Studio. She’s a fantastic web designer and brand expert, and a really cool human. We had a super juicy conversation on how to make money as a spiritual business, how to grapple with the intersection of spirituality and entrepreneurship, and went over some very practical wisdom for creating more peace and profits in your work without burning out or selling out. Give it a listen on Apple or Spotify, and check out the accompanying article here.

[Podcast] Thriving Life & A Prayer for All Men from The Mythic Masculine podcast 🌈
I cannot get enough of Pat McCabe right now. Please do yourself a huge favor and listen to this podcast episode. These are words and sentiments we all need to hear.
[Article] Reverse To-Do List 📝
My friend and past client Alli shared this article with me, after I mentioned this technique in my Luminous Life Design workshop earlier this year (ahem, btw, Q2 is nearly complete! For all my LLD folks, time to schedule your quarterly assessment and Q3 planning date!). The Reverse To-Do list is, in short, exactly what it sounds like. Instead of listing everything you have to do at the beginning of the day— and likely only checking off 50% of it — you list everything you actually did, which creates a feeling of accomplishment and actually creates more momentum to keep going. In other words, it encourages better productivity. Read the article, and give it a try?
[Article] Liz G Letters from Love: on paying attention 💌
I love Liz Gilbert (this isn’t the first time I’ve gushed about her in an edition of The Goods! And probably won’t be the last…). Her Substack newsletter is called Letters From Love, where she writes the universal force of unconditional love —aka God, higher self, Source, you get the idea— and always uses the same sentence seed: “Dear Love, what would you have me know today about….. “ Last year I did an entire 40-day practice where I stole this incredible sentence seed and made it into a practice. This letter I found particularly relevant, as she talks about curbing our addictive phone/screen habits, and also shares a new definition of “gossip” that I can’t stop thinking about. Give it a read. I want to hear what you think, and if you feel inspired to shift either your phone habits or your “gossip” habits.
[Film] Where Olive Trees Weep: global film premier 🌳
“Antisemitism has absolutely nothing to do with Palestinian human rights.”
– Gabor Maté
The newly released documentary Where Olive Trees Weep is a beautiful, poignant, heartbreaking film about the struggles and resilience of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. Exploring themes of loss, trauma, and the quest for justice, it also features Dr. Gabor Maté as he offers trauma-healing work to a group of Palestinian women tortured in Israeli prisons. I personally learned *a lot* about the history of this conflict by watching this film. It’s not an easy watch, but well worth it. If you choose to purchase the viewing of the film before June 27th (that's tomorrow!), you also get temporary access to 21 talks discussing an array of themes and featuring artists, activists, poets, musicians, therapists, healers and humans willing to have hard conversations about a situation that feels at times impossible to hold… but that invites us into a rumble with some of the most prominent shadows we face as a human species in a dance of relationship on this planet. I’d love to hear if you view the film, and I’m here if you care to send some of your thoughts or feelings afterward ❤️
May this summer kiss you with gentle sunlit breezes, romance you with beautiful birdsong, and awaken some inspired action that gets you that much closer to the next big thing you’re calling forth.
Want to share how any of these resources landed for you?
I’m only an email away, dear one.
