Spring has sprung 🌱 [The Goods]

Hi and blessed day,

It is a blessed day indeed, because today marks the official beginning of SPRINGTIME!

Hallelujah 👏

Today's edition of The Goods offers some resources, insights and invitations to come into harmony with the energy of la primavera, attuning yourself to the fresh growth, pops of color and new young buds pushing like heck to come through the soil and greet the sun.

Has this been a long winter for you? How are you feeling the transition thus far into this new season of potentiality? Hit reply and let me know 😉

Let's go.

[Playlist] Opening in Awe. 🌼

I've been adding to this playlist for the last few years, and continue to enjoy it's vibes! It's intended to support you in opening your heart, opening your mind, opening to curiosity and awe in any given moment. Great for a hike, cooking dinner, pulling some cards, working in the garden or whatever pleasurable springtime activity you might get into.

[Mantra] The Heart Sutra ❤️

I'm currently taking a course with one of my favorite teachers, Simone Seol, called The Way of the Dragon. [Cannot recommend it highly enough!] This course is all about power through the lens of non-duality. The first lesson begins with the heart sutra, and I've been loving the practice of simply sitting and listening to a recording of buddhist monks chanting this profound piece of wisdom. Here and here are two recordings I'm loving, and here is an article from Thich Nhat Hahn speaking to an updated translation of the sutra. I recommend reading the translation, then simply sitting in silent meditation as you listen to the mantra. In TWOTD course, here is Simone's prompt to contemplate or journal on after you finish listening: "On the shore of emptiness, who am I?"

[Podcast] Springtime Brings Healing: an exploration into the archetypes of spring 🌱

{41 min listen} I published this episode last year, and it's time for another listen. I love synchronizing myself with mother nature's rhythms, and this transmission breaks down a variety of archetypal, mythic and nature-based frameworks for how to think about organizing and expressing your personal power and life force energy this season.

[Tea & Plant Ally] Bobinsana 🌸

Bobinsana is a plant from South America that I got acquainted with a decade ago. Last month, Ben and I dedicated one week to work with this tea, which we got from Anima Mundi. A shamanic heart-opener and lucid dreaming aid, the timing of our "study" miraculously aligned with the week we said goodbye to our beloved feline familiar Chuckles. I can't quite express in words how supportive this tea was for walking through the death and grief portal... suffice to say, I will forever be grateful to Bobinsana for holding us in a sweet river of grief and tears while keeping our hearts open and connected. That said, please know this plant is not specifically for grief, but can aid any period or moment when you desire to drop deeper into your heart. My personal experience is that it has the power to blur the line between waking and dreaming life, creating a liminal space to simply be. 🙏

[New Course] it's a surprise! 💰

I'll conclude this edition of the Goods with a little teaser: I am about to announce a brand new course dedicated to creating an entirely new relationship with money. It is all centered around this quote, from my teacher Anuttara Lakshmin Nath: "When we engage in the material world without the experience of the sacred, we are simply in repetitive cycles of pleasure and pain." With this in mind: how do you engage with money? with your bank accounts? with your taxes? If this hits close to home beloved, I can't wait to share this new toolkit with you. Coming later this week, keep an eye on your inbox to get it when it drops! Just in time for tax season ;)

Kate, may these nudges and invitations awaken that which has been dormant in you this winter.

May your inner florescence burst forth with renewed freshness, vitality and inspiration for a verdant springtime ahead!

To your blossoming,
