The beauty way.

Here in the northern hemisphere, fall has arrived.

On the heels of this autumnal equinox, I’m excited to share some news… 

I’m working on a card deck!

Today I woke up with an inspiration to draw a card for us as we cross this seasonal threshold. Before pulling the card, I specifically asked the deck what energy we’re being invited into between the autumn equinox and the next cross quarter festival of Samhain, roughly 6 weeks from now, at the end of October.

Here’s what arose for us… 

THE BEAUTY WAY

Beauty is not a luxury. Its value is inherent to the human experience. In its most elevated, pure form, beauty can hardly be spoken about—even words shatter the delicacy of its truest nature. Beauty is often mistaken for vanity, but this is incorrect perception. Beauty is only ever felt. When we think we are seeing beauty, it is actually the feeling striking our heart, sparked by that which pleases us through the channel of our eyes.

This life is paradoxical… exquisite and excruciating. Why not make it beautiful as possible?

Beauty is a blessed force of nature touching us in unexpected moments. No amount of force will steer it in our direction. Ambition will not sway its gaze. We invoke beauty when we get out of the way, allowing creativity to arc forth directly from the heart. Beauty occurs like grace—spontaneously, out of our hands, in collaboration with Divine Will.

The Beauty Way is beckoning.

Will you answer the call?

This card landed in the field purposefully. My friend, we’re being asked to beautify.

For the next 6 weeks, what if your central focus was beauty-making?

What if your central inquiry was “how do I make this (fill in the blank) as beautiful as possible?”

Whether it’s a project, your office, an altar, a relationship, a song or a new offering…
