Dare yourself.
🌟 Happy New Year! 🌟
It's 2025, and my theme for this new year is "lean & elegant." One way this theme is already bearing fruit is a fresh approach to my writing.
Beginning this year, here's where you can read my stuff:
1. Wednesday Love Notes. I'm trying out a new format with this newsletter, starting now! Each Wednesday, I'll share short-form tips and inspiration (500 words or less) on protecting your peace of mind, cultivating abundance, and having a positive impact—even with a busy-ass schedule. This is also where I'll share my latest offerings and invitations for working together.
2. Frequency First, Strategy Second. My new Substack! Roughly twice a month, I'll share longer articles to help you adjust your order of operations... because when your vibrational frequency is aligned, your strategy will soar. Keep an eye out for an email with your first transmission coming soon 👁️
I’ll never publish the same content in both places. So you’ll always get a fresh dose of wit and wisdom, even if you’re subscribed to both.
That said, here's your first Wednesday Love Note!
OX,

Ps. I'm also hanging out on LinkedIn these days. If you're there too, let's connect ;)
Today's Inspiration: Dare yourself.
Last week, I was dusting off some old songs from my repertoire, and I came across this lovely one from Nessi Gomes that I used to play on my charango. Now that I'm playing guitar, I figured I'd give it a go. When I got to the bridge, I came upon... a B♭ chord!
Yikes! 😬
Bar chords are still out of my comfort zone, but I am bound and determined to master them this year, so I gave it a try. B♭ is particularly stretchy for the fingers, so I was legitimately intimidated, and it sounded pretty bad at first. But I kept at it.
As good fortune would have it, I was hosting a group call over Zoom the very next morning where I would be offering live music. What the heck, I thought. I'm going to play this song. B♭ and all!
So I drilled the bridge all that afternoon, and woke early the next day to properly warm up before drilling it some more.
And guess what? It went well! Even Ben said it sounded pretty good.
I could have decided it was premature. I could have let my nerves get the better of me. I could have let my inner perfectionist win. But I didn't. I DARED to be bold, take a risk, and play in my stretch zone. And because I did, now I feel a more confident than before.
So on this first, fresh, glorious day of 2025...
What will you dare to do this year?
Who will you dare to be?
How will you dare to play in your stretch zone?
Write it down. You might even hit reply and share it with me ❤️
To nimble fingers and a courageous heart,
