The Hermit carries the torch of wisdom, illuminating their own path… and perhaps lighting the way for others nearby.
As someone actively dismantling a core wound rooted in the false belief that it's all up to me, and I have to do it alone, this is BIG MEDICINE.
I’ve been on a slow but steady journey to stop trying—consciously or unconsciously—to do it all by myself.
This has never been the way of the wise feminine.
For time immemorial, generations of women have known that our power lies in the collective, the community, the great circle of all that is, the sacred spiral of all life.
One hermit in a cave is alright… but a hermitage of powerful women? Count me in.
Seriously, I daydream about the appeal of the nunnery and the hermitage from my busily-scheduled, married life 😆
