We all have a Unique Code.

Part of my personal self-care lately includes a morning Theta meditation practice I’ve come to refer to as “Clear & Call.” It takes me about 10 minutes, and in essence it’s a car wash for my energy body. After the “car” is clean, it gets a little alignment where I ask Source to download me with whatever I need on that given day.

I consider this practice essential for a number of reasons (I’ll do a pod on this soon to explain more), but perhaps the moment I love best is imagining a golden orb of light around me that both magnetizes everything I want while repelling everything I don’t.

Which brings me to the magic of magnetism. 

One thing I know for certain: we only magnetize that which we want by standing in our true and full authenticity.

When I wave the flag of my own personal pillars—my values, my soul’s code, my priorities—then people who I freaking adore show up to meet me.

There are a lot of ways people label this collection of values. One of my mentors and colleagues Kelly Diels calls these your “Uniques” and they serve several important functions.

First, they are how you let people know YOU are for THEM and THEY are for YOU.

Second, no single person on the planet will have the exact same combination of “Uniques”, which is what makes each one of us unequivocally irreplaceable. This should bring you great solace if you’re looking for a soul mate, business partner, more aligned friendships, new job, new clients or even a fresh solution to an old problem. 

When you embrace the facets of your unique gem, you realize how rare of a bird you actually are… and your flock can more easily recognize you.

Last week, I felt inspired to refresh my own Uniques. May they inspire you to assess your own unique code. And, since you’re here reading this email, I’m guessing some (if not all) of these codes will resonate deeply with you too!

Code 1. We are spirit-led AND strategic 

We bridge the mystic and the mundane, weaving spirituality with the practicalities of life. We use the language of archetypes, oracles and mysticism while we strategically plan, assess and craft actionable plans for our lives. We choose to be powerful manifestors even as we release the need to control, because we know that uniting Personal Will with Divine Will is the true recipe for success and fulfilment. 

Code 2. We are seasonal, cyclical, earth-loving, plant-inspired psychonauts 

We walk softly upon the back of mother earth and travel the inner realms of space and time aided by our plant allies. We cherish our planet and see her as our mother and our #1 guide. We know everything in our lives is connected by a holistic ecosystem, and that the natural wisdom of these systems applies not only to the elements and seasons, but to our businesses, relationships, and personal growth.

Code 3. We prioritize an embodied balance of Yin AND Yang

We playfully juggle the energies of activity and stillness, which is perhaps the greatest challenge of our modern world. We see the devastating effect of excess yang (aggression, force, control) on our world, and we also see the trap of excess yin (stagnancy, passivity, complacency). We're wary of modernized ambition, and we're willing to look again at our plans for so-called success that throw us off balance and burn us out. We pay attention to how energy moves through our lives, honing our qi so as to direct our life force energy in the best and highest way for all.

Code 4. We are Word Wizards

We know the power of candor and creative expression to create worlds and make magic. As a teacher, writer, singer, songwriter and musician, I use words and language like a sacred sword, cutting through illusion to reveal the most delightful and honest expression possible. I bring my clients and community with me, because we WILL cast spells with our words and actions—let's do it consciously and powerfully.
